Top's Casino Chip Guide to Florida Card Rooms, John "Top" Newby (1998)

14 pages, spiral bound, $9.95, John Newby, P. O. Box 5064, Inverness, FL 34450

This little book brings those of us who collect Florida card room chips up to date with what's been happening in the state in the two years that card rooms were legalized. In 1996, Florida allowed race tracks (jai alai, dog tracks and horse tracks) to open card rooms. 11 card rooms have opened, and Top provides the address, opening dates, and color photographs (most of them full size) of the chips issued by each casino.

In addition, Newby has assigned a price/value code to each chip, corresponding with the letter code range of "The Chip Rack," so most collectors will be familiar with the values given.

It's a small book, but for Florida collectors, it's just the ticket!
